Protista
This is a picture of Euglena, a plantlike protist.
Prostista is a very diverse kingdom that includes both simple multicellular and unicellular organisms. They are eukaryotic organisms who are both heterotrophic consumers and autotrophic producers. Some use photosynthesis. They generally live near bodies of water such as lakes, swamps, and rivers. They reproduce asexually through the process of binary fission. Some examples of protists are Slime Mold (Dictyostelium Discoideum), Amoeba, Diatom (Bacillariophyceae), Paramecium, and Giardia.
